Waves

Man...it's quiet here. Hanging out at Laguardia airport for the day.

Seems like a stark contrast to the craziness of life. Of my Job. Of our schedule.

I think there are others who have many more obstacles to overcome, but some days I feel like I'm in a blur. Like when I was younger and would dive through the waves in the ocean-for a few seconds it was hard to tell which way was up-then POW! Fresh air hits your face and you find equilibrium.

Between work and family/friends and decisions we've been mulling over, this month has been full for us. We got to enjoy some great times with friends, see family we haven't seen for years. I got to spend some time with my brother before he moved back down to TX.

I'm looking forward to next week. I'll be home with no plans but to spend time with the fam. Fresh air after getting caught up in the ocean waves of life.

Oliver’s first birthday was this past Monday. He is growing so fast! My daughter is a little over 3 and my pug is a little older than 4...where’s the button to slow things down?
