Ok, let me preface this by saying that yes, I would rather have a job than not, but this month we are scheduled to be out for 22 days and I am already feeling it.
I'm sitting in Teterboro, NJ waiting for some passengers. I was thinking about how I love the holiday season, and spending it in a hotel is not my preference. I would much rather be home by the fire with my wife and kids. Snowmobiling on our property and sitting in our jacuzzi while the snow falls. Ok, we don't have any of those things anyways, but you get the point. Home is awesome.
Well at least I'm not overseas somewhere, and I am home for Christmas eve and Christmas day right?! Im trying to stay positive.
In other news, I have all but abandoned my myspace account, and pretty much stuck with facebook. It's smoother, and just works for social networking (without all extra crap). I don't speend a whole lot of time on updating FB or this blog, but when I do it feels little theraputic...maybe I'm crazy.
As far as events whilst on the road, we haven't had anything too out of the ordinary happen. I don't have any crazy stories of recent. I just wanted to write a bit and say hi to all.
I hope everyone is having a great start to the holiday season. We are having the whole family together this year so I'm looking forward to it. I love the games, the food, and the ambiance of it all. I have a LOT to be thankful for and spending time with my wife and kids is huge!
What are YOU doing this holiday season. What are your traditions/favorite things. I'd love to hear....Enjoy the Day!
